On January 14, 2025, fragrance house Eurofragance appointed its first three master perfumers: Belén Garcia, Isabel Gil Trujillo and Olaf Larsen.

“Recognizing Belén, Isabel, and Olof as Master Perfumers is our way of expressing gratitude for their passion and dedication, which contribute so much to the company and the world of fragrances,” said Rebeca Jardón, chief people officer at Eurofragance. “Furthermore, this recognition is not only a source of pride for Eurofragance but also a testament to our commitment to recognizing the talent of our teams and the development of our professionals globally.”

Master Perfumers

Belén Garcia, Barcelona

Specialization: Fine Fragrance

Belén Garcia’s career at Eurofragance spans over 30 years. She believes that the process of creating a perfume comes from within, from the heart. Her creations evoke emotions and create moments of reflection. For her, each fragrance is an invitation to better understand oneself and connect with one's inner voice.

“Becoming a Master Perfumer is an honor and an opportunity to further explore the creation of fragrances that connect with people on an emotional level,” she said.  “This title reinforces my commitment to the art of perfumery and the impact it can have on those who experience it.”

Isabel Gil Trujillo, Barcelona

Specialization: Home Care, Personal Care, Air Care

Isabel Gil started as a Perfumer Assistant at Eurofragance 24 years ago. During this time, she spent four years working in the company’s Singapore affiliate. Over her tenure, she has built a solid experience in creating scents for the home care, personal care and air care categories. After her experience in Asia, she returned to Barcelona with a renewed vision that she applies to each of her creations.

“Achieving the title of Master Perfumer means taking my passion and experience to new heights. I am excited to continue creating fragrances that enhance people's everyday lives and bring them moments of joy,” she said.

Olaf Larson, Dubai

Specialization: Fine Fragrances

Fascinated by the fragrance cultures of the Middle East and Asia, Olaf has been living in Dubai for twelve years. His creation palette includes notes such as ambergris, a perfumery raw material that embodies the olfactive richness of the Gulf region. For him, a fragrance should not only smell good, but make you feel good.

Olaf Larsen said, “Being recognized as a Master Perfumer is a dream come true. This achievement represents my passion for perfumery, as well as my commitment to continue exploring and honoring the olfactive richness of each culture.”
