He received a master’s degree in plant breeding from Kansas State University and a Ph.D. from Colorado State University.

In addition to Nykaza’s announcement, Kalsec has announced several other executive team changes and promotions. Julie Heine was promoted to executive vice president of sales, after working for over 23 years with Kalsec. Last, Roger Nahas, M.D., has expanded his duties and responsibilities of his vice president of global research and development.

“These announcements are part of a long-term succession plan to ensure Kalsec remains private and sustainable for the next 100 years,” said George Todd, executive chairman of the board. “I am very proud of what our Kalsec team has accomplished during a time of significant change and challenges in our industry and across the world.
