On March 24, 2025, essential oil producer dōTERRA announced its receipt the 2025 SEAL Sustainability award for its ginger sourcing efforts in Tanzania. The Sustainability, Environmental Achievement & Leadership (SEAL) Awards honor organizations that lead through sustainable initiatives.
dōTERRA has developed partnerships with small-scale ginger farmers through its Co-Impact Sourcing model. The company states that the initiative contributes to a more sustainable and transparent supply chain and provides economic benefits to local communities.
