EcoVadis Recognizes Givaudan's Sustainable Procurement Initiatives

Third-party sustainability certifier, EcoVadis, ranked Givaudan in the top 1% of 55,000 companies participating in corporate social responsibility.

With a score of 72/100, Givaudan earned a gold rating for the fifth year in a row as a participant in the 2019 EcoVadis Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assessment.

EcoVadis’s assessment serves as an evaluation of how well a company has integrated the principles of CSR into its business and management systems. It looks at criteria in the categories of environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement to compare the performance of companies in different sectors.

Givaudan received high ratings on sustainabile procurement, which focuses on its approach towards responsible sourcing, sourcing at origin and communities at source.
