Vigon International’s President Steve Somers Wins EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2016

On June 10^th, the winner of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year award for 2016 was announced as Steve Somers in manufacturing. He was recognized for his success at Vigon in the areas of innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to the community and business.

Somers attributes his success to his hardworking team at Vigon, “I have the great fortune of having 71 team members find their way to be part of building something with relevance and importance in this world and they are the ones who have accounted for the great success we have achieved,” said Somers.

According to the company’s press release, Penta will be actively seeking acquisition opportunities in the ingredients and specialty chemical space.
