Hair care brand amika is entering the fragrance category with the launch of amika:aura hair + body mist. The new hair fragrance is designed for a mood-lifting effect and skin-loving ingredients.

“Designed to uplift, this joy-sparking mist wraps you in fresh, fruity notes,” the brand’s press release states. “After all, this is more than just a mist. It’s a feeling.”

This launch joins several hair brands making their fragrance debut as hair perfumes become increasingly popular. According to Grand View Research, the global hair perfume market is projected to reach $11.92 billion by 2030 at a growth rate of 5.5%.

Grand View Research also reports that the global body mist market size could total as much as $9.37 billion by 2030.

amika:aura hair + body mist will be available for purchase on the brand’s website as well as online and in stores at Sephora. The fragrance retails for $28.
