According to the National Confectioners Association (NCA)1, confectionery sales totaled $54.2 billion in 2024. Chocolate accounted for $28.1 billion, followed by non-chocolate candy at $21.7 billio, and gum at $4.4 billion. In 2024, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Halloween, and the winter holidays made up 62.3% of all confectionery sales.
