This patent application describes a tea beverage containing a jasmine extract that, according to the inventors, maintains its jasmine character even when adding sweeteners that contain a sweetness degree of 2.5% or greater, in terms of sucrose.
Specifially disclosed is a tea beverage containing a jasmine tea extract plus: a) ethyl phenylacetate, b) methyl benzoate and c) cis-jasmone, wherein the ratio by mass of a) to the sum of b) and b) [a/(b+c)] is 1.0-3.3, inclusive.
