Evolva announced its R&D alliance with Takasago is moving ahead of schedule. This partnership came out of the idea to co-develop new fermentation routes to produce several ingredients with applications in flavor and fragrance. Both parties will be expected to share costs of economic value from the manufacturing and commercialization of final products.
“Our project with Evolva is developing better than expected. Evolva’s team clearly proves to be very competent and focused. I am looking forward to further progress towards developing a competitive and sustainable production route for some of our key ingredients," said Masayuki Mita, senior vice president of Takasago's fragrance and aroma chemical division.
