In its partnership with Cargill, Inc., Evolva announced the launch of EverSweet, the zero-calorie stevia sweetener.
EverSweet is created with sweet components found in the stevia leaf, Reb M and Reb D, without any bitterness or off-note aftertaste common with other stevia sweeteners.
Though the stevia plant is only able to produce trace amounts of these molecules, sweeteners using Reb M and Reb D are now commercially available for the mass market through yeast fermentation.
