Candlemaker Creates Chicago Inspired Scents

Vicinity Candles owner, Annie Cantara, works to create candles with familiar smells reminiscent of Chicago.

The 9 oz soy candles come in glass jars and include neighborhood history and fragrance notes. 

Candle scents include:

• Hyde Park: Leather, Patchouli and Musk

• Lakeview: Rainwater, Jasmine and Citrus 

• Lincoln Park: Bergamot, Bamboo, and Grass

• Andersonville: Rose, Cherry Blossom and Magnolia

• Old Town: Patchouli, Blackberry and Amber

• Pilsen: Cinnamon, Vanilla and Cream

• West Loop: Chocolate, Vanilla and Walnut

• River North: Sandalwood, Amber and Musk
