Pura Releases Trees of the West in Collaboration with Scents of Wood

Pura has collaborated with luxury fragrance brand Scents of Wood to launch Trees of the West, a new collection crafted to complement Pura’s smart home fragrance systems.

Founded by industry veteran Fabrice Croisé, Scents of Woods creates personal and home fragrances inspired by forests and aged in wooden barrels. According to the press release, the Trees of the West scent was created as “a love letter to the trees.”

“In a departure from typical fragrance development, the perfumers behind Trees of the West weren’t handed mood boards or marketing data; they were taken directly to the forests themselves,” the press release states. “Spending time under and around the trees that inspired each scent, they absorbed the temperature, air, textures and feelings of the space. Acting as emotional sponges, they then returned to the lab and created fragrances purely from memory.”

The Trees of the West collection will be available on both Pura and Scents of Wood’s websites as home fragrances and wearable fine fragrances, respectively. The collection includes three scents inspired by different types of forests.
