Here are some recent savory flavor launches hitting shelves and spicing up the summer months.
Totino’s and FaZe Clan have partnered on a new pizza roll flavor, Buffalo Chicken. The snack was inspired by flavors that gamers love. Totino’s FaZe Clan Buffalo Chicken Pizza Rolls Brand pizza snacks will launch at retailers nationwide this July.
Pringles has jumped on the savory bandwagon with the release of Pringles Wavy Chipotle Ranch, pairing smoky chipotle and creamy, zesty ranch with wavy texture.
Miller Lite has launched Miller Lite Beercoal, the company’s first beer-infused charcoal. The charcoal is coated with actual Miller Lite in a concentrated form, and when it is burned, the special charcoal releases the taste of Miller Lite into whatever is on the grill.
Cheez-It added to its Snap'd line of crispy snacks with Cheez-It Snap'd Scorchin' Hot Cheddar. The snacks are baked with real cheddar cheese, spices, garlic and umami to provide a spicy cheddar flavor.
McCormick & Co. and Campbell Soup collaborated on a flavor of Goldfish crackers made with Old Bay seasoning. The flavor includes Old Bay’s blend of 18 herbs and spices, including black pepper, paprika, celery salt and red pepper.
Nicki Minaj collaborated with Rap Snacks to create “Barbie-Que” Honey Truffle Chips, with notes of sweet truffle and barbecue.
Heinz has released a new collection of condiments, Heinz 57 Collection, featuring two infused kinds of honey and three crunch sauces.
Applebee’s has collaborated with makeup company Winky Lux to create Saucy Gloss lip gloss. The collaboration has yielded four wearable shades that taste like the restaurant’s wing sauces, “Get Me Hot Buffalo,” “Sweet Chile Kiss,” “Be My Honey Pepper” and “Honey BBQ-T."
