According to ResearchAndMarkets, the North American seasoning and spices market is projected to reach $5,01 million by 2027, registering a CAGR of 4.65% from 2022 to 2027. With consumers constantly trying out new flavors and seasoning combinations, Cheez-It used garlic, umami and a combination of spice and cheddar in the latest addition to its Snap'd line of crispy snacks, Cheez-It Snap'd Scorchin' Hot Cheddar.

Cheez-It Snap'd Scorchin' Hot Cheddar is baked with real cheddar cheese, spices, garlic and umami to provide a spicy cheddar flavor. The spicy crispy snacks will only be available at retailers for this summer.
Erin Storm, senior marketing director of Cheez-It, said in a press release, "Lunch has become the mundane or forgotten meal, but with the cheesy, thin and crispy crunch from Cheez-It Snap'd we're bringing that "I can't wait until lunch" feeling back. With the debut of Cheez-It Snap'd Scorchin' Hot Cheddar, we're spicing up lunchtime and sending taste buds on a fiery, cheesy ride—making an unskippable lunch experience with a blazing kick."
