According to a Grand View Research report, the North American savory snacks market size was valued at $36.89 billion in 2020, with a forecasted compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.1% from 2021 to 2028.

Here are some of the recent headlines of the latest savory snack launches:
Doritos has launched the Flamin' Hot Queso flavor to its Dinamita line, joining the chile-lime flavor. Doritos also announced the relaunch of the Tangy Pickle flavor, as well as the launch of a Tangy Ranch flavor this month.
Lay's has released its Flavor Swap lineup, which includes collaborations with Doritos Cool Ranch and Funyuns onion rings flavors on Lay's chips.
Pringles debuted its newest flavor, Scorchin' Sour Cream & Onion, which has a smoky cayenne pepper flavor. Pringles also partnered with Wendy’s to replicate the classic spicy fried chicken flavor onto chips.
Terra Chips launched three new chip flavors, Sour Cream & Onion, Sea Salt & Vinegar and Screamin' Hot. The chips are made with vegetables such as parsnip, taro, carrots and sweet potato.
Poppy released a series of BBQ-flavored popcorns. The four flavors featured in the set are Carolina Barbecue, Honey Barbecue, Kansas City Barbecue and Texas Barbecue.
Herr's debuted its Flavor Mix Mystery, a single chip that combines three of Herr's flavors.
