On July 25, 2025, Sensient Technologies published its financial results for the second quarter of 2025. According to the report, the company saw a revenue increase of 2.7% to $414.2 million compared to the same period last year.
The Flavors & Extracts group reported a revenue of $203.3 million during the second quarter, a decrease of $6 million from the same period last year. The company attributes the decrease to lower volumes in natural ingredients. To offset this decrease, the company’s Color group saw an increase of $11.6 million to $179.3 million, driven by strong growth in the food and pharmaceutical product lines.
“Sensient continued to build on a strong first quarter,” said chairman, president and chief executive officer Paul Manning. “Our results are a testament to our relentless focus on customer service and innovation. I remain very confident about our performance in 2025 and beyond.”
The company is still expecting to see mid-single-digit growth in local currency revenue and high single-digit growth in adjusted EBITDA.
