On July 7, 2025, The Women in Flavor and Fragrance Commerce (WFFC) announced the launch of its Florida chapter, the fourth chapter of the organization in the United States. The organization hopes the new chapter will help serve the growing industry hub in the state.
“I’m excited to announce that we have established a fourth WFFC chapter, located in Florida,” said president of the national executive board Erica Lermond. “The Florida chapter is already growing, with numerous new members, proving this new geographic location will continue to be a hub for the flavor and fragrance industry, and the WFFC.”
According to the press release, the WFFC Florida chapter has elected a board of director and has a growing membership base. The chapter will help serve central Florida’s growing network of ingredient suppliers, citrus processors and industry experts.
“The establishment of the Florida chapter will allow the WFFC to continue to build upon its mission of providing women at all stages of their career with a forum for networking, education, career development and camaraderie across all facets of the industry through educational, networking and mentoring opportunities,” Lermond concluded.”
