International Taste Solutions (I.T.S) launched a new range of natural flavor enhancers, Vegan Boost, that imitate traditional bakery products in dairy-free alternatives.
Some ingredients used to rebuild the structural properties of dairy-free products can affect the flavor of the dessert. Vegan Boost masks those flavors and accentuates the buttery and creamy flavors to deliver a more authentic experience to a range of plant-based desserts.
Vegan Boost is available in liquid and powder formats. It also comes in a higher strength rate, Vegan Boost Extra.
According to a study conducted by I.T.S., the addition of Vegan Boost Extra enhanced the rich, creamy and buttery characteristics and delivered more fatty notes to a dairy-free cupcake and brioche. A group of panelists judged the vegan desserts with and without the addition of Vegan Boost.
