Raspberry ketone (CAS# 5471-51-2) is used in fragrances, flavors and cosmetics. Due to the sweetness, it is used to prepare pineapple, raspberry, peach, strawberry, plum and other fruit flavors. Raspberry ketone is also used in chewing gum, baked goods, candy and cold/soft drinks. In cosmetics, it’s used in creams, lotions and soap.
