International fragrance house Eurofragance was recognized for the second consecutive year with a platinum medal from independent sustainability assessment agency EcoVadis. This distinction, based on 2024 activities and achievements, places Eurofragance among the top 1% of companies in its sector globally.

“Five years ago, Eurofragance embarked with conviction and commitment on its journey towards sustainability,” said chief executive officer Laurent Mercier. “From this journey, I have learned the value of small victories that add up over time, the importance of setting achievable goals and, above all, that sustainability and business are not opposites. Obtaining the EcoVadis platinum recognition two years in a row is not only gratifying but it also confirms that we are on the right path and that there is no turning back.”

Eurofragance improved its overall score in the EcoVadis assessment, earning a score of 82 out of 100, compared to 80 in 2023. Further, the company has reduced its carbon emissions by 7% since 2021 and reduced water consumption by 7% in the last year. Beyond environmental sustainability, Eurofragance invested in its corporate sustainability, with its team accumulating a total of 11,000 hours of training and professional development over the course of 2024.

“Since the beginning of this journey, EcoVadis has been a benchmark that has guided our efforts towards actions with real impact, both for the planet and for our communities,” said chief sustainability and technical compliance officer Diana March. “Receiving the platinum medal for the second time in a row is a very motivating recognition for all Eurofragance teams. We know that the bar will be set higher every year, but our goal is to continue to meet these exacting standards.”
