On June 11, 2025, Eurofragance announced its plans to expand its production facility in Rubí, Barcelona, Spain. The expansion, a €10 million investment, will include new facilities and dosing robots to help automate the company’s production.
According to the company’s press release, the Rubí site carries out half of Eurofragance’s global annual output. With these expansions and renovations, the company will now be able to meet the growing demand for its customers in Europe, Africa, Turkey and the Middle East.
“The renovation of our flagship factory along with a redesigned workspace and new robotics allows us to triple our production capacity,” said chief operations officer Clara Mena. “The more than 2,000 square meters expansion of our production facility includes remodeled offices and labs to ensure greater ergonomics and increased worker satisfaction. Thanks to an innovative approach and our commitment to sustainability, we have improved our usage of available space, while also creating a more modern, efficient and pleasant work environment.”
Santiago Giménez, global plant engineering manager, added, “With this expansion, we have automatic 80% of our operations. This allows us to improve the reliability and traceability of our processes and increase the quality of our fragrances. We have also incorporated resource optimization systems, such as the use of solar panels that generate over one-third of our energy needs. Additionally, we have strategic internal resources to ensure the continuity of our production process in the event of an unexpected situation.”
Eurofragance’s press release also states that the expansion will allow the company to improve its production capabilities for greater production volumes.
