Symrise Reorganizes Scent & Care Segment

Symrise AG is reorganizing its business with fragrances, perfumes and cosmetics in its Scent & Care segment. The goal is to continue to develop and grow through investments and sustainable technologies, while offering customers solutions and service models through its product platforms.

Dr. Jörn Andreas will be heading the cosmetic ingredients division. Eder Ramos, the current head of the cosmetic ingredients division, will be taking responsibility for the fragrance business. Dr. Norbert Richter will continue to lead the aroma molecules division.

Focus will continue on responsibly obtained raw materials and the implementation of “green chemistry” to promote growth.

Dr. Heinz-Jürgen Bertram, chief executive officer of Symrise AG, said, “Both divisions offer promising growth potential in our core areas of luxury perfumes, personal care and hygiene. Both managers contribute broad international experience and market knowledge and will continue the successful development of the divisions.”
