International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF) posted growth in its Q2 financial report which was attributed largely in part to the company's 2018 acquisition of Frutarom for $7.1 billion. The US-based company is investigating payments made by Frutarom to Russia and Ukraine.
The investigation is currently carried out by external legal and accounting firms. IFF reports that payments were not connected to the United States and that improper customer payments are no longer being made.

According to the Jerusalem Post, IFF states that the payments affected less than one percent of IFF and Frutarom's net sales.
