FONA International has been entered into the U.S. Congressional record.

Rep. Peter Roskam (R-IL 6th District) entered the company into the Congressional record in honor of its recent awards, which include ranking second among workplaces in the Chicagoland area by Fortune magazine and being named a Small Giant by Forbes. FONA was also named a top workplace for millennials and women by Fortune and Great Place to Work, respectively.

Roskam visited FONA and spoke to employees, along with presenting founder and CEO Joe Slawek with a copy of the record.

“I represent a lot of people in a Congressional district that are looking for things to be proud of, and are looking for things to be uplifted by,” said Roskam. “You all are an example of what it is to do well in a marketplace, and to treat one another well and to be industry leaders in ways that I think are a great reflection of everyone.”
