According to Persistence Market Research1, the global shampoo market is slated to reach $31,900 million by 2022, growing at a 4.0% CAGR during the period. In the U.S. alone, sales of shampoo totaled more than $3.08 billion for the 52 weeks ending December 3, 2017, a 3.1% increase across all U.S. multi-outlets, which includes grocery, drug, mass, military and select club and dollar retailers, according to IRI2.
