Home fragrance brand Pura continues its collaboration with global color authority Pantone to celebrate the 2026 color of the year: PANTONE 11-4201 Cloud Dancer. The new fragrance is described as evoking “serenity, clarity and renewal.”
Pura’s Cloud Dancer fragrance was developed in partnership with Clement Gavarry and Erwan Raguenes at dsm-firmenich. The brand hoped to translate the color’s sensorial calm into fragrance form, building on current trends of tranquil and calming scents.
“Scent, like color, has the power to shift emotions,” said Mara Dumski, Pura’s chief fragrance experience officer. “This captures Pura’s ability to bring color, and the mood it evokes, to life through scent. With Cloud Dancer, we wanted to create a sensory interpretation of calm, a moment of quiet amidst the noise. It’s about new beginnings and simply being.”
Laurie Pressman, vice president at the Pantone Color Institute, added, “An airy white hue, PANTONE 11-4201 Cloud Dancer opens space for creativity, allowing imagination to wander and drift so that new insights and bold ideas can emerge and take shape.
