A report by OnBuy revealed the top ten most loved adverts of all time in both women’s perfume and men’s aftershave. Libre by Yves Saint Laurent (lavender, orange blossom and musk notes) was the most loved perfume advert with a ratio of one like for every 81 views. Toy Boy by Moschino (woody-spicy notes) was the most loved aftershave advert with a ratio of one like for every 54 views.
In-house experts at OnlyBuy used fragantica.com to create a list of the most popular 120 fragrances of all time. They then collected the views and numbers of likes on the official YouTube uploaded adverts for the fragrances and calculated a ratio of views to likes to determine the most loved fragrance adverts of all time.
Adverts that received under 50,000 YouTube views and adverts not posted by official accounts were excluded from the study.
