Symrise (Holzminden, Germany) has appointed Holger Winkel president of scent and care division for the EAME region (Europe, Africa, Middle East). He will manage the company’s development center in Paris and enhance its integration with Symrise’s scent and care sites in Holzminden.

Winkel was previously with Kao Brands Europe, Procter & Gamble and Novartis.

Fragrance is stepping out from the broader personal care ingredient mix with the launch of the Fragrance Zone at in-cosmetics Asia 2026, reflecting the growing role of scent in product differentiation, mood and self-expression across APAC.
