Eurofragance Says ‘És Possible’ With Pasqual Maragall Foundation

Eurofragance and the Pasqual Maragall Foundation have launched És Possible, a perfume to celebrate the foundation’s 10th anniversary.

Started in 2007, the Pasqual Maragall Foundation works on projects to detect and prevent Alzheimer and other neurodegenerative diseases. In 2014, Eurofragance joined the organization’s Patronage Council to support the foundation’s scientific projects that draw attention to the close connection between scent and memory.

Studies have shown scent's positive effects on individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s and memory-related illnesses. Commenting on the connection, a representative for the foundation said, “we associate some smells with feelings, and when we smell them again they quickly evoke the feeling and its associated memories again.”

Inspired by the foundation’s values, the fragrance includes top notes of mandarin, pink grapefruit and sweet orange; heart notes of white flowers; and a base of vetiver, cedarwood and amber. The perfume was given to partners and volunteers of the foundation during an event on Nov. 15, 2018, at the Auditori Fòrum in Barcelona, Spain.
