Flavor supplier esarom announced coffee as the flavor of the year for 2025 and has expanded its portfolio with new coffee flavor variations including Turkish coffee and coffee caramel.
“Coffee is more of an experience than a single sensory expression,” said Susanne Winter, head of marketing at esarom. “With new coffee flavors, we want to offer the opportunity to create incomparable taste experiences that are unique and correspond to current market trends.”
According to the company, the new coffee flavors are suitable for classic coffee drinks, as well as other applications such as energy drinks, confectionary, ice cream products and more.
Flavorist Marvin Wortman added, “Coffee is a complex fusion of over a thousand different aroma molecules. It has great potential to be used over different beverage categories.”
