Treatt has launched TreattSweet, a noncaloric blend of essences that helps improve the sweetness and flavor profile of products sweetened with stevia. The water-soluble material offers a mild, sweet, fruity flavor, and can be used in juices, waters, alcoholic beverages, dairy, dressings and more. It can be incorporated at levels of up to 1,000 ppm to create an overall fruity, sweet effect; at lower levels, between 100–250 ppm, it intensifies sweetness levels by approximately 1.5 Brix.
