The US Patent Office has confirmed the validity of all claims of Mane's (Bar-sur-Loup, France) US Patents Nos. 5,725,865 and 5,843,466, which cover the use of monomenthyl succinate (CAS# 77341-67-4; FEMA# 3810) as a cooling additive in food and beverage products. The material also finds use in oral care and cosmetics.
