More than 20 energy-saving projects have been mapped to support in delivering this near-term target by 2030.
Treatt has announced its science-based target to reduce its operational carbon emissions by 42% by 2030.
The target has been reviewed and validated by the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
Treatt is one of 5,231 companies worldwide with clearly defined, science-based pathways to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
Key deliverables:
- More than 20 energy-saving projects have been mapped to support in delivering this near-term target by 2030.
- U.K. facilities have been on 100% renewable, grid-sourced electricity since 2020, with a transition to solar currently being explored.
- Increased focus on increasing circularity of its waste streams by means of compost, natural fertilizer, and animal feed—with 89% of all global waste being repurposed, reused, or recycled in 2023.
