The Fragrance Foundation hosted its 20th annual Circle of Champions event, honoring Carol Hamilton, at New York City’s Park Hyatt.

Hamilton, group president of acquisitions at L’Oréal, has been with the beauty giant for more than 30 years. She previously oversaw the company’s Luxe division. During her time in this role, she undertook Viktor & Rolf’s Flowerbomb as a “personal project”— transforming the fragrance from niche to one of the top three fragrances over the course of 5 years.

Alexandre Choueiri, group president, Ralph Lauren Fragrances and Sylvie Ganter, founder, Atelier Cologne, shared reflections on Hamilton before Leslie Marino, general manager, Redken and Pureology, presented the honor.
