October Sets a Packed Agenda for Flavor & Fragrance

October is shaping up as one of the busiest months of the year for the global flavor and fragrance industry, with major trade shows, technical meetings and networking events spanning North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Here are several dates to have on the radar, culled from the Perfumer & Flavorist+ events calendar.

The month opens with the WFFC New Jersey 42nd Annual Gala on October 1, followed by Beautyworld Middle East in Dubai, October 6–8. The show will put the spotlight on the Middle East's rapidly evolving beauty and fragrance market.

Notes Shanghai follows October 14–17, bringing the international fragrance community to China, while October 15 sees several industry gatherings converge: the WFFC Cincinnati and OVRCA Masquerade, the British Society of Flavourists' webinar on edible flowers, and SFP Raw Materials Day in France.

The industry's global focus intensifies with IFEAT 2026 in Bangkok, October 19–23. The conference will bring together flavor, fragrance and ingredient professionals around the global supply chain and raw materials landscape. In the United States, FEMA's Fall Symposium takes place October 19-21 in Morristown, New Jersey, the same week as the TFF Circle of Champions Awards in New York on October 20.

Rounding out the month, NAFFS' Annual Meeting heads to Longboat Key, Florida, October 22–24, while SupplySide Global takes over Las Vegas October 26–30. Together, the October calendar reflects the industry's increasingly global agenda—from raw materials and flavor science to fragrance, beauty, ingredients and supply-chain strategy.
