FONA Promotes One, Hires Three

FONA International Inc. (Geneva, IL) announced a staff promotion, as well as three new hires. Craig Savage was promoted to confections business unit solutions manager, now being responsible for leading the confections team. Previously, Savage was an applications manager in the confections lab and has more than 18 years of technical and commercialization experience in the confectionary and bakery markets. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Manufacturing Confectioners' Association board of directors, and holds a BS and an MS in food science from Penn State University.

Eric Jogun has been hired as the company’s new director of manufacturing operations. With more than 20 years of supply chain, continuous improvement, engineering & maintenance and production experience, Jogun holds a BS in industrial engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from William Woods University. He has also earned a certificate in Lean Tools from Ohio State University and is a certified practitioner for SQF.

Kristin Parshall has joined FONA as the technical director for its beverage business unit, bringing her 20 years of leadership and technical experience in the beverage industry to assist in product development experience and R&D efforts. She holds a BS in chemistry from Rochester Institute of Technology and an MS in food science from the University of Massachusetts.

Anthony Roach has been added asengineering and maintenance manager. He spent the past five years in corporate project engineering and management roles, and he holds a chemical engineering degree from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
