The transaction will be definitively formalized in the coming months.

With this transaction, Grupo Indukern will sell 100% of Indukern, both in Spain and the subsidiaries in Brazil, China, Colombia, France, Mexico, Portugal and Switzerland.

After the sale, Grupo Indukern will focus on developing and shoring up its position in the human and animal health sectors.

“Taking this decision has not been easy because Indukern was the first company in our business group and the start of all we are today. However, it is a step we must take to concentrate our resources and move at the speed we need to in our future endeavours and investments,” said Grupo Indukern president, José Luis Díaz-Varela.

He described another key point in this agreement: “Ravago Group is a family firm with values, a business culture and a work style very similar to Grupo Indukern’s. It also has extensive experience in operations of this type and is always very respectful with the team and internal knowledge of the companies it buys. This way of doing things, together with the willingness it expressed to keep on investing to drive growth across all the Indukern business lines, was fundamental in taking this decision. We believe it is also a great opportunity for the professionals at Indukern, since they will be able to continue to grow in a business group with a strong, forward-looking project.”
