Interstellar Lab has announced the appointment of three experts to the company's research team.
Appointments
- Shreya Agrawal, Ph.D., formerly at Neoplant is a molecular biologist who is highly specialized in the production of molecules in high value plants, plant biology and biotechnology. She brings additional molecular and genetic expertise to the science team at Interstellar Lab.
- Adeline Bonneau, Ph.D., formerly at Gourmey is a chemical analyst who specializes in sensory and statistical analysis. She is leading the expansion of our on-site phytochemistry and extraction labs.
- Cristina Venturoni, formerly at IFF has joined as account manager—a chemist with a background in F&F ingredient transformation programs, she is dedicated to supporting our partnerships on the commercial side.
BioFactory
Interstellar Lab is opening its first biofactory in October 2024, which spans 4,500 m² with 3,000 m² dedicated to production and assembly of BioPods, and 1,500 m² to plant research and laboratories.
The production line includes large scale additive manufacturing, membrane production, systems and electrical integration.
Interstellar Lab is extending its plant research capabilities with 20 PHYTOs, BioPod and an analytical lab equipped with extraction machines, mass spectrometers as well as DNA sequencing machines.
