The Fragrance Creators Association (FCA) has promoted Emily Cruz to Manager, Executive Operations and Events, expanding her responsibilities as the trade association builds out its events portfolio and member engagement efforts.
In her new role, Cruz will lead executive coordination and member outreach, while taking on a larger role in event operations and management. She will work alongside Amy Bush, FCA vice president of finance and operations, supporting programming for member companies, lawmakers and other industry stakeholders.
Cruz joined FCA in 2023 as coordinator of executive communications and has played a key role in the association's event activity. Her expanded remit follows two major FCA events held during the first half of 2026: the inaugural Fragrance Salon at the White House, described by FCA as the first fragrance event hosted at the White House, and its Member Activation Summit in New Jersey.
According to FCA president and CEO Farah K. Ahmed, Cruz's work on the events demonstrated her “tenacity,” creativity and attention to detail, prompting the association to expand her responsibilities as it develops its events strategy.
Cruz holds a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Maryland.
