RIFM Issues Eight Flavor or Fragrance Ingredient Data Sheets

The Research Institute for Fragrance Materials has released Flavor or Fragrance Ingredient Data Sheets (FFIDS) on eight substances: benzaldehyde (FEMA# 2127, CAS#100-52-7), α-Methylbenzyl alcohol (FEMA# 2685, CAS#98-85-1), p-tert-Butylcyclohexanone (CAS# 98-53-3), Anisole (CAS# 100-66-3), Valeraldehyde (CAS# 110-62-3), l-.alpha.-Pinene (CAS# 7785-26-4), l-.β.-Pinene (CAS# 18172-67-3) and 4-Hydroxybutanoic acid lactone (FEMA# 3921, CAS# 96-48-0).  

The data sheets include classification and labeling as prescribed in Annex I to Dangerous Substances Directive 67/578/EEC or in Annex VI of the directive as determined by the IFRA/IOFI/EFFA Workgroup.
