International fragrance manufacturer, Iberchem has announced the expansion of its R&D facilities at the head office in southern Spain.
The new center will have a total of 3,000 square meters added to the existing installations, spread across three levels. The company expects the center to be completed by fall 2018.
The design was developed to broaden and enhance the company’s R&D operations, in addition to accommodating nearly 100 specialists including:
- Perfumers
- Lab technicians
- Evaluators
- Applicational specialists
The expansion was announced shortly after the company hired a new technologies director and promised to offer innovative fragrance solutions to customers, prior to the market requirements.
“This investment was key to maintaining the company’s enviable growth over the past decade and represents a pillar in fulfilling the objectives of our ongoing strategic plan,” said Ramón Fernández, CEO, Iberchem. “It demonstrates our commitment to anticipating the needs of our clients, providing them with the best service possible.”
