Laurel Leaf Oil In 1997, Fiorini et al. compared the composition of flower, leaf, stem bark and stem wood oils of Laurus nobilis using GC and GC/MS. The results of this comparative study can be found in Table I.
The following year, Özek et al. (1998) compared the composition of a hydrodistilled oil, a steam-distilled oil and two supercritical fluid extracts of L. nobilis using a combination of modern analytical techniques. A summary of their results can be seen in Table II.
