On July 24, 2025, IFF announced the launch of ENVIROCAP, the company’s newest sustainable scent delivery system intended for fabric care. The technology is ECHA-compliant, biodegradable and vegan-suitable.
The ENVIROCAP technology uses a proprietary biopolymer that delivers long-lasting fragrance while reducing environmental impact, meeting consumer demand for sustainability while remaining cost efficient.

According to the company’s press release, the ENVIROCAP technology works with a wide variety of scents, allowing perfumers more freedom when developing fragrance formulas. Additionally, the technology can be applied to different product types within the laundry category.
