Cradle to Cradle Certified measures performance across five categories: safety of materials, the product’s contributions to a circular economy, use of renewable energy in manufacturing, use of clean water and healthy soils and the efforts to respect human rights and promote an equitable society.
CK Everyone Eau de Parfum has notes of oranges and black tea, continuing the tradition of tea notes in the CK One family, with green tea found in CK One and blue tea in CK Everyone Eau de toilette.
Shimei Fan, chief scientific officer, Coty, said in a press release, “Coty has set ambitious clean and green roadmaps for the future. This notable and standard-setting sustainability recognition for CK Everyone Eau de Parfum is testament to our commitment to create Beauty That Lasts. I look forward to continuing to innovate and partnering with leaders like Calvin Klein and Cradle To Cradle Products Innovation Institute to create a more sustainable world.”
Christina Raab, president and CEO of the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute, said, “We applaud Coty for setting a new standard with their first fragrance to be Cradle to Cradle Certified Gold: CK Everyone Eau de Parfum. It is a significant positive step in moving the beauty industry towards the universal use of products that are safe, circular and responsible.”
