Flavor and fragrance company Turpaz Industries announced the completion of its acquisition of a controlling stake in French fragrance company Attractive Scent SAS. Turpaz purchased 68.6% of Attractive Scent for €24.7 million.
Attractive Scent was founded in 2018 in Grasse. The company develops, manufactures and markets fragrance extracts for the fine fragrance industry, as well as personal care, cosmetics and air care products. Further, the company has a broad customer base across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and South America. The company operates a production site, which includes a development laboratory and sales center, in the Grasse region.
According to the acquisition agreement, the founders of Attractive Scent, Marc Langasque and Arnaud Fourre, will continue to lead the company and join the management team of Turpaz’s fragrance division. The agreement also includes a mechanism to purchase the remaining shares of Attractive Scent based on its business performance.
