Tyler Malek, co-founder of Portland, Oregon ice cream brand Salt & Straw, collaborated with Portland perfumery brand Imaginary Authors to launch a trio of ice cream perfumes.

The edible perfumes comprise what the creators imagined Neapolitan ice cream would smell like, offering citrus, floral and woodsy vanilla scents. A Cloud of Cocoa holds notes of Ecuadorian chocolate, malted milkshake and Japanese whisky; A Plume of Blumes combines honeysuckle and jasmine; and A Swoon of Citrus blends citrus with the herbal undertones of an orchard.

The scents are meant to be used by creating a “dome of aroma” around the ice cream, letting the scent sink in before digging into the dessert.

The scent trio is available for purchase in Salt & Straw's scoop shops and online at their official website, available in 65 ml bottles or 10 mL travel-sized bottles.
