Symrise’s Limonenal (β-4-dimethylcyclohex-3-ene-1propan-1-al; C11 H18 N;CAS# 6784-13-0) is a diffusive radiant and a stable citrus top note. The material lends a citrus, green, aldehydic and slightly herbal character to applications and is particularly effective in combination with other citrus notes such as lemon and orange. This clear, colorless to pale yellowish liquid is recommended to use at a level of 0.05–3%.
