Kalsec has appointed Greg Shewchuk as executive vice president and chief commercial officer, tapping the consumer goods veteran to lead its global commercial organization as the natural ingredients supplier accelerates its next phase of growth.
Shewchuk succeeds Julie Heine following her retirement after 30 years with the company. In his new role, he will oversee Kalsec's commercial strategy, customer experience, market expansion and commercial operations across EMEA and APAC.
Bringing more than three decades of leadership experience spanning food, beverage and health and wellness, Shewchuk joins Kalsec after serving as CEO of MyForest Foods and SpoonfulONE, where he led two high-growth consumer businesses. His career also includes leading Campbell Soup Company's $3.3 billion U.S. retail business as senior vice president, serving as chief marketing officer at Mead Johnson Nutrition, and holding innovation and leadership roles at Mondelez International, Cadbury and Unilever.
The appointment strengthens Kalsec's executive leadership as the company continues to expand its global footprint in natural taste and sensory, color and food protection solutions. Headquartered in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Kalsec serves food and beverage manufacturers worldwide and recently marked another strategic milestone with the launch of KalHops, a dedicated brand for its advanced hop solutions business.
Shewchuk holds an M.B.A. from Queen's University and an Honors Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Western Ontario.
