Tamara Steele, senior vice president, US Prestige Beauty Group at Elizabeth Arden, will be honored at this year's Women in Flavor and Fragrance Commerce (WFFC) 34th annual gala on November 3, 2016 at Westmount Country Club in Woodland Park, New Jersey.

An Award-Winning Career

Steele began her career with Elizabeth Arden in 1997 as New York's regional manager; her role soon evolved into various sales and marketing positions within the company, including global fragrance marketing. She and her team developed award-winning fragrances for both Elizabeth Arden brands, as well as celebrity fragrances such as Elizabeth Taylor and Britney Spears.

Steele's most notable leadership wins include the commercial execution and marketing in the US Prestige market, including brick and mortar, e-commerce and direct-to-consumer channels for Elizabeth Arden skincare, color and fragrance brands; as well as designer fragrances such as Juicy Couture, John Varvatos, White Diamonds Elizabeth Taylor and Wildfox.

Prior to joining Elizabeth Arden, Steele spent 10 years with Unilever Canada, where, in her last role, she was the director of marketing in the food and beverage division.

She graduated with honors from the Ivey School of Business at Western University in London, Canada with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration.
