The Women in Flavor and Fragrance Commerce (WFFC) New Jersey chapter has announced the recipients of the 2026 Scholarship Awards, including Maria Galeas, Rutgers University/Kerry Taste & Nutrition (She Works Scholarship); Julia Yueyang Chen, University of Maryland–College Park (Flavor Scholarship); and Julia Anna DeStefano, Fairfield University (Rita Flynn Fragrance Scholarship).
The scholarships were presented to the recipients at the 2026 WFFC Annual Meeting Dinner in January.
Applications for the 2027 scholarships will open later this year and are open to women working or studying in the flavor and fragrance industry.
“WFFC New Jersey commends all applicants for their outstanding submissions and extends sincere gratitude for their participation,” says New Jersey chapter president, Natasha Reed. “For the second consecutive year, the Chapter received a record number of applications. The exceptional caliber of candidates made the selection process both challenging and inspiring.”
